CONTENT IN THE SERVICE OF BRAND PROMOTION – SHOWMAX IN POLAND.

The most effective marketing message is currently being delivered through the production of a movie content that tells a moving story. Emotional engagement in a brand is easier to achieve through a complex history, rather than a short message. These productions, made by the greatest names in the film world, engage the viewer and at the same time - without over-branding - perfectly raise the brand's awareness. The achieved results make content production an increasingly popular marketing tool; and at the same time, many well received artistic projects are being created. An example of the trend and effectiveness of such a campaign is the recent launch of the paid VOD Showmax service in Poland.

SOCIAL INTERACTIVE CINEMA - CONTENT OF THE FUTURE? THE PERSPECTIVE OF FILMMAKERS AND BRANDS.

Modern cinema: 200 people, all with mobile phones. Sitting in a room with a giant digital screen. And what do filmmakers and marketers tell you to do? Turn off your phone and shut up – while they tell you a story. It’s not enough any more. So youth audiences are deserting cinema. Meanwhile, the tech industry is obsessed with social media. But there’s no social media for people who are physically together in the same place. So social media produces divisive echo chambers, dominated by extremist ranters. With disastrous political results. This talk will show you how to move forward. By smashing together social media with interactivity and cinema. Creating new formats and spaces for ideas, for brands, for action. It’s a huge creative opportunity. A cultural game-changer and problem-solver with great commercial, political and artistic possibilities. And best of all – hardly anyone’s working with it yet. So you could be first. The talk will present revolutionary ideas from a radical creative thinker. Going against the grain of mainstream film and digital. And to finish off, we'll play an experimental action movie for social/interactive cinema. Where depending on your choices, the Bad Guy could be you.
